This week has been fun, busy, tiring, crazy and all of the above. But I have made it and still making it. As usual have so many things to be thankful for.
- My Grandfather- He turned 86 on Saturday (don’t you love his electric blue jacket?)
- A new very interesting book The Fat Fallacy- The French Diet Secret to Permanent Weight Loss – A diet that says you can eat butter, cream, and Carbs, I am all about that. I have actually been following this “diet” all week so lets see if I have any results. Has anyone done this??
- Coffee with real cream!! I am loving using real cream and sugar, as per The Fat Fallacy I really need to channel the French thinking and not feel guilty about it.
- Political Debate- I am so into it this year, and it’s the last debate before election!!! (yes I know I am a dork)
As always I would love to hear your Thankful Thursday post, so please share.

I hope your grandfather enjoyed his birthday.
Oh yes, that electric blue jacket speaks so much of energy. 🙂
BTW– I have several devotions written that address the marriage issue, and things I’ve learned (and am still learning), after 20 years of marriage. Feel free to stop by and take a look.

belated happy birthday to your grandfather! to be 86 is something 🙂 Blessings!
Hmm… I wonder if you’re the first to post thanks regarding the debates! But we do need to be thankful that we live in a country that encourages debates.
Thanks for sharing!
Your grandpa is ADORABLE!!!!! Will he adopt me? Love the jacket, couldn’t be more precious.
If you are a dork I am a dork about the election, I am totally into it this year.
Coffee is my ultimate indulgence…..I can’t imagine life without it.
They have some awesome creamers out right now too.
And I love the truck 🙂
