Sometimes the simplest things in life if you slow down and really think about them can bring you the biggest joy
like sweet chunky little baby feet
They represent a moment in time. They will surely change and grow and never be the same
When I think about it hard enough, it will bring tears to my eyes.
Soon my boys will be bigger
and won’t need their mommy’s hugs and kisses
and comfort quite so much
Soon they won’t enjoy the kiss from a puppy
or a good swing in the swing set
But for now I will try to soak up all of the simple little things and keep them in my heart forever.
*Oh and by soon I mean in 25 years- Yes they will be my babies forever like it or not!
they are so precious! thanks for joining in the party today!
Awwwww the cast! It’s killing me! I agree I’d cry too.. 🙂
Enjoy those sweet, kissable little feet. In a few years you will NOT want to kiss them anymore. 🙂
They do grow up so fast!!! But I’m with you…they’ll be my babies no matter how old they get!
Beautiful thought, echoed with lovely photos.
truly it is the small things in time that bring us the greatest joy,
I travel to see my Jenn as much as I can, I work all hours that god sends and I save every penny to be with her, even though we dont get a lot o time together, its those moments that bring me the most joy.
great photo friday
Oh what little darlings! I agree I love little toes!
Make no mistake – -boys will ALWAYS need their mommies.
Oh, yes. It is hard for my to keep my hands off of chubby baby feet… or legs…arms… wrists… 🙂
They’re adorable.
I agree it’s so important to enjoy each moment and make time for life’s simple pleasures. Away from the TV, computer, etc.
