This weeks shopping trip I think we did extremely well considering this is including my parents and some of their household expenses. My Mom is not a bargain shopper so it was like pulling teeth to get her to bargain shop. For instance I would never pay 10.00 for paper towels or almost 5.00 for hot chocolate mix, but she can, I can’t, she can………. Anyways including all these factors we did well, and were able to feed 4 adults and 2 toddlers on this amount. To see what we ate this week go here. For the majority of our meals  we used veggies from the garden and meat from the freezer.

  1. I’m in shock that you could find organic milk for that cheap!!! Here in CA it’s like $5.00 and very rarely on sale!

Looks like you did some serious bargain shopping!!!!

  2. I was just reading your blog when my e-mail box said you posted on my blog! Too funny! I knows what ya mean about the mom’s and their “have to have’s” It’s pretty funny my mom does that too. So does my grandma. But you still did pretty good…huh?
