The remodel seems to be going fairly smoothly and quickly. On Saturday we made a trip to Lowe’s and Home Depot and got everything we needed, amazing huh. I also picked out my tile for the floor, ceramic tile for the tub and granite counter top for the sink. We have a outlet that sells leftover or discontinued tile and granite and I was able to find a counter top and flooring we liked. Yea! To see last what was done last week click here, and to see what the bathroom use to look like click here.
On Monday the contractor insulated and sheet rocked the walls and put in our bathtub.
Don’t you love the purple sheet rock? Apparently the purple sheet rock has a mold resistant quality, see you learn something new everyday.
We picked out a whirlpool jacuzzi tub
We left our original cabinet, and see the cut out for a medicine cabinet mirror- originally priced $140, but we got for $50 because it was the floor model, great tip when buying!
We also found discounted faucets for the bathtub that was originally around $140 for $80, so I was happy to have that savings.
Sink and commode hook ups
Poor Sable misses us and the boys miss giving her hugs
Bathroom ceiling vent and we purchases a new exhaust/heater/fan/light combo.

Wednesday the contractor came to caulk, fill and texture the walls
If you look closely you can see the light texture

You will so appreciate all the photos! What a blessing that tub is going to be!
That purple sheetrock is new to me. I am used to the green waterproof that is used around tubs and showers. Thank you for sharing. Happy Show and Tell Day.
