I am very happy to say that as you are reading this I am busy moving back into our home!!! Yes I said it!! After 11 long weeks it is happening. Woo Hoo!! I just can’t express my happiness enough. Sometimes you just need your our space, to do as you please, wear your underwear around the house, cook what you want to eat, and have a little peace and quiet. I am sure my parents feel the same exact way!
We had our carpet installed this week- the new carpet is very similar to our old carpet, except its clean.
I choose this carpet because it has flecks and is great for hiding dirt, bits of cheerios, grass, etc.
Not that I have any of that with 3 boys in the house.
Our bathroom fixtures were installed
Vanity sink
Bath tub and shower
And were still waiting on our toilet that was suppose to be delivered today, but there was a delivery error and it wouldn’t be able to be delivered again until next TUESDAY, so I had a small melt down, and DT decided he going himself to pick it up. That’s the good thing about having a truck driver husband, their good at picking up stuff.
So while he is getting the toilet
look at what I will be tackling- your seeing correctly, that’s a Christmas tree, 3 infant car seats, and tons and tons of baby toys
You cannot understand how excited I am to be back at my house again, we have been out of the house since January 11th! It will be nice to be in our own space again, and I am sure my parents will be glad to see us go as well.
But it will be hard to say goodbye to all this space

Happy Day- looks great.
Wow your parents home is gorgeous! Looks like something out of a movie set!
And so nice for you ALL to be moving back home. I’m sure it will feel so good to sleep in your bed. The bathroom fixtures you chose are really pretty!
Looks great. I am sure you will enjoy having your own space again. We have been displaced by the military several times, and I know it can get frustrating!

Congratulations !!! Good luck with getting settled:-)
Oh wow your parents house is a dream…we live in an old (1895) home but no where near at stately as your parents home.
I bet you are so happy to be “home”. That pile of “stuff” isn’t too bad!
I love the sink and faucet!
Stopping by from Candid Carrie’s!
Welcome Home!!
Wow, your parents’ home is beautiful, but it looks as though yours is beautiful as well! Congrats!!
But it was worthwhile to have done all these repairs ! Now you can live again in your home sweet home, lol !
Very nice!! I’m sure it will be a great relief to be back in your own home. Actually, I would kick the parents out and stay there!! HA HA
Congratulations on your completed work! Here’s my post:

Your new spaces look beautiful and you must be so relieved to get back into your house and start enjoying them! But, looks like a lot of fun places for your boys to run and hide and play in at your parents’ house, I’m sure they will miss that. 🙂
Yeah to going home!!! Have fun moving back in. Now why did you have THREE infant car seats when you had two babies??
holy lord @ your parent’s house!!! it doesn’t even look real!!!! 🙂
congratulations on finally moving back into your own home!! woohoo! however I must say, your parents house–beautifuL! reminds me of my former life in Charleston (not that I lived in a house like that, please don’t misunderstand me there!)
Oh it does feel good to be in your own space. We unexpectedly sold our old house quickly and couldn’t find a new one we liked, so we were with my parents for ummm much longer than any of us anticipated 🙂
Congratulations — it looks lovely!
Congrats on moving back into your home! How exciting! Your parents home is beautiful! Enjoy the process and have a great weekend.
I love the colors you picked for your bathroom. I like every shade of brown.
Beautiful! and wow, I buy carpet for the same reasons! lol. I’m shipping your order out Monday btw for the bath stuff. An email goes out automatically when I do. Thanks, btw. I know you’ll love it!
Oh, also, LOVE that shade of blue in the pic! NICE choice!
Whoa ~ Your parents’ home is gorgeous. But you’re right, there’s no place like (your own) home! Congrats on getting back in!
Congrats on being back in your own home. It looks great. I can imagine that it would be hard to leave all that space.
It looks great!! We chose very similar carpet for our family room for that same reason and it does hide stains pretty well!!
Your parent’s house is to die for!! But I’m sure you’ll be so happy in your newly remodeled home!
So nice that you get to have your home back! But if you have to stay someplace- your parents’ home–not too shabby!:) really a beautiful house!
And isn’t it great to have brand new carper? Great!
Enjoy!

Your parents house looks lovely but there’s no place like home.
I’m sure it’s hard being out of one’s own element for so long!
I love the blue paint and the fixtures. I especially love the outside of your house! How beautiful.
Yeah! How exciting!
