*Welcome all you Pioneer Woman readers.  Apparently I was lucky enough to be mentioned in the comments section of her recent giveaway and lots of you are checking me out, thanks!!  Oh and Thank you Crystal, be sure to stop by and leave a comment, and thanks so much for mentioning me, I am forever grateful.  I would say this cookbook giveaway is perfect timing! Hope you all come again!*

I love me some Pioneer Woman. If you are not familiar with her very popular Blog The Pioneer Women, please go read her archives now, you will die of laughter.  Not only is she funny, she also has the most amazing down home cooking recipes, ever!  And luckily for me I made her Cinnamon Rolls the other day.  8 whole pans of lovely cinnamony perfection.   I actually froze the other 7 pans.  But PW being a kind generous person usually gives her rolls away to neighbors, friends and family, and I might just do that the next time I make them.  Because there will be a next time, I am sure of this.

Pioneer Woman besides having the best blog ever, recently released a best-selling cook book.  And because I am a #1 fan I bought a couple.  Yes a couple of them.  1 for myself of course, and I thought one for maybe Christmas gifts, or better yet a blog giveaway!!!  Yes I am willing to share.

A Cook book that is.

Here’s a little sneak peek inside

each of her recipes have her step by step photos and instructions,  which if you’re a visual junkie like me, you’ll just love.

  1. I have made several of her recipes. In fact, I made one tonight: Marboro Man’s Second Favorite Sandwich. I’m not sure if it’s in the cookbook or not (because I don’t have a copy yet. $ are very tight so I really hope I win!). Anyway, you can find the recipe on her site. I make it a few times a month, because my man looooooooves it as does my 16 year old son. Even my daughters like it, too.

  40. For the Pioneer Woman Cooks cookbook give away. I am a new fan of PW but love her food. A friend and I cooked a meal with nothing but her recipes. All were great. We had the mushrooms stuffed with brie, crash potatoes (excellent), Grilled Ribeye steak with onio-blue cheese sauce (the sauce is so good I’d eat it without the steak) and buttered rosemary rolls. 43. I LOVE Ree Drummond/Pioneer Woman – I hardly end a day without checking into her site to see what amazing recipes she has chosen to share with us that day ~ I have tried and tested many of her recipies and have NEVER been a bit disappointed. As a beginner cook, and basically being self-taught (until Ree that is), I have learned SOOO much including many cooking techniques thanks to her step-by-step pictures. Her roast is amazing, I can now successfully pan-fry a steak to amazing (grills aren’t allowed in apartments! 🙁 . . . cinnamon rolls have made me a whole lot of “friends”, pretty sure I won’t ever buy chicken strips from the freezer section EVER again – homemade ummm good!, and finally MM’s favorite sandwich is on the menu for this week – I am sure that too will be a hit just as everything else is! I WOULD LOVE to have her book – please ENTER me!
PS: And I love her latest question about everyone’s favorite food blogger – because the people’s answers have led me to so many new sites like yours that I can’t wait to explore!!!!

  44. Hello! I LOVE reading the pioneer woman! I’ve made her Mac and cheese and it was delish! Having been used to the Kraft box stuff, I was a bit overpowered by the dry mustard…But then again, I did add a bit more than called for. Ha!

  45. Hi!
1 – I love seeing what Pioneer Woman is up to! Last week she posted a recipe from her buddy’s book, so I made Chicken Broccoli, yum!
    2 – I’m subscribed
3 – Following you on Twitter

    Best of luck to everyone!

  46. I love her hot crash potatoes! I’m always looking for great ways to use our fresh rosemary and it works SO well with this recipe!

  47. I have made a lot of her recipes, and adore most of them. Her chinese noodle salad is unbelievably good, and her cheesy biscuits (which actually weren’t her recipe but were on her sight from a dairy cooking competition she had) are famous in my house. That woman can cook!

  48. Her creamy mashed potatoes are to DIE FOR! Try them in time for Thanksgiving and you won’t go back 🙂

  49. I love PW. I actually found your blog through someone mentioning you on her contest!! I have added so many of her recipes to my cooking rotation. MM sandwich is one of the favorites. I would love to have her cookbooks, and look forward to reading your blog everyday!!

  50. O.k. I’ll admit it… I am so jealous of The Pioneer Woman. I am part of her recipe club and have made a few recipes, but I sooo want that cookbook! Thanks for the giveaway!!!
    Happy Wordless Wednesday.

  51. Thank you for the giveaway!! I love PW’s recipes – I’ve already tried many – my favorites are her Nachos, rib-eye steak salad and of course, that BEST EVER chocolate sheet cake. Ah-mazing! Next on my list are her rosemary (skillet) rolls.

  52. I’ve tried several of PW’s recipes and she has yet to let me down. I love the green beans with bacon and tomatoes. I fix this at least once a month. The apple things with Mt. Dew were great too. I’ve also tried MM’s favorite sandwich and the spicy shrimp too. I am hoping to try the nacho dip soon, maybe over the holidays.

  53. PW is the best! I check in on her daily! Her Baked Lemon Pasta is a favorite at our house. My 1 year old eats it up! 🙂 Great blog, by the way. Can’t wait to follow you too!

  54. I’m a big Pioneer Woman fan & a Newlyweds fan. 🙂 I have tried a PW recipe recently – the single-serving scalloped potatoes. I made some changes to fit what I had at home & they were a big hit. I’ll make them again. I really want the cookbook so I hope I win!

  55. I made her Panzinella (sp) where she made them with pita chips instead of bread. OMG, it was wonderful. I made it twice, first time according to her directions. Second time, the only difference I made was to not soak the pita chips in the liquid for as long as she did (I liked them cruncy, not soggy).

    Thanks!

  56. I keep looking at pioneer woman, then I forget to do her recipes when I plan my meals for the week! I was just drooling over the chipolte sweet corn potato soup. I will have to try that next week! Your blog looks great too! Thank you!

  57. I am a Pioneer Woman devotee! A friend turned me on to The Pioneer Woman and I was hooked from the moment I entered Ree’s “space”. Last night I made Ree’s Delicious Baked Acorn Squash – yummy and so easy. Moist Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes were a hit at my Cooking Club this week. The recipe by Pam Anderson for Quick Southern-Style Baked Beans that appeared on The Pioneer Woman’s website was not what I call quick, but the beans were definitely what I call delicious! I would love to add The Pioneer Woman Cooks to my cookbook library 🙂

  58. I’ve made her Chicken Scallopine (very good) and her regular enchiladas (excellent) -and probably some others too!

    new to your site –

  59. Big fan of PW. My men folk love the steak sandwiches made with cube steaks. I make them occasionally on Saturday afternoons as a treat 🙂
