So where are they now? Happily holding a precious baby girl! Having a baby is one of the biggest changes any couple can face. Wonder how they handled the stress? Ha ha, just kidding. These two are great. Sam happens to be a Real life friend, so I have the inside scoop. Come read about their lives now and be sure to check out Sam’s great blog for more pics of the sweet couple and little Charlie!
Wedding date: Sept 12, 2008
Blog (s): The Prochaskas
Original Interview: February 26, 2009
When reading the first interview, did anything stick out, make you laugh, or shake your head? All of it! Ha. No really – the part about how I got upset that he rearranged everything in the refrigerator when we first moved into our house had me laughing. I just brought that up to him the other day about how he likes to have things organized “his” way. I guess some things never change.
What in your marriage has changed for the better? We are 100% a team now. We have had a few tough times that have made us realize how strong our relationship is. We know we can count on each other, which is really important, now that we are parents.
Anything for the worst? I would say sometimes we are almost too comfortable with each other, if there is such a thing.
What are some of the biggest changes that have happened to you guys since the first interview? We became parents to the most beautiful little girl on May 19, 2011. That has definitely been a HUGE change for us. We had a somewhat difficult journey to parenthood, but we could not be happier now!
What can you say about marriage that took time to discover? That it doesn’t get easier. You will always have bad days and you will always have rough patches, but you realize that you’d rather have a bad day with him than a good day alone.
Now go ask your hubby: What is his favorite quirk about you? His words “when music comes on you always begin to move and dance and you think you’re doing good” LOL – that had me laughing
What’s a favorite moment you’ve shared in the past 2 years? I have never felt closer to someone than I did to him on the day our daughter was born, so that has to be #1. But we have had so many good days in the past 2 years – full of lots of smiles and laughter. There is never a dull moment in our house! 🙂
Each week I will re-interview a past couple, so be sure to check it out, and if you are a past couple, please contact me.
Love the picture of Sam, Jason and Charlie. Charlie’s expression is priceless, like she has a special secret!!!
Thanks for the interview Jenna! It was fun! 🙂
