After a stressful egg hatching last week I am starting to feel a bit more like myself again.  A little more energy and motivation to do something other than obsess over non hatching chicks.  And I do it again in just 19 days, ahhh!  Any-who this past weekend DT and I went out to eat and like I usually am I was inspired to try to make what I had at home.  So I have a new restaurant meal planned as well as an old favorite restaurant inspired dish.  I just love eating out and then experimenting at home.  Our county fair is this week so I am sure we will be spending some time out their enjoying all the activities and I know the boys will just love it.  How’s your week looking?

Egg Omelets (using leftovers in fridge)

Tomatillo Chicken (using canned beans and tomatillo sauce)

Pork Sandwiches with spicy slaw (recipe to come)

Desserts,  Snacks and Drinks:

Espresso Martini (recipe to come)

  1. The pumpkin cookies look good. I was going to make some pumpkin bread tonight because I need to use up the stuff I froze and make room for new food. Thanks for the idea!
