I’ve had an exciting or should be exciting weekend hovering over my chicken egg incubator, but I’m sad to say I’ve had absolutely no action. The chicks due date is today to be exact but I was really hoping for some early takers. Hopefully today I won’t spend most of the day hovering also but I will have some chicks hatching. Wish me luck. On other news I will also be busy cooking some of my favorite foods this week, cookies and soup. What’s on your menu plan this week?
Last week we enjoyed:
Cajun fish and Shrimp over Cheese Grits and Red Repper Coulis
This week we have planned:
Breakfasts:
Eggs and Toast
Fresh Fruit and Oatmeal
Cereal with fresh berries
Dinners:
Pork Chops in Creamy Champagne Sauce with Rustic Garlic Mashed Potatoes (recipe to come)
Sticky Chicken with veggies
Desserts, Snacks and Drinks:

Yum! I have cans of pumpkin and oatmeal…I might have to try your cookies this week!
Looks like another GREAT week!
Mmm yummy, send some of that my way!
oh yum, i make a soup my husband loves that is very similar to your mexican chicken stew, but the ingredients, for the most part, are canned, which i dont like. im thinking i may just have to replace mine with yours! its fresher!
I’ve been on a carb kick lately for breakfast — but eggs and toast sound awesome! I’ll have to add some eggs to our breakfasts.
Hi! I found your blog through Lucy’s Kitchen, and I must say I am loving it! 🙂
I made your sticky chicken today, and I can’t wait to try it for dinner tonight.
