DT and I are on our second week on the Sugar and Gluten free diet, last week was fairly easy. I experimented with a new sugar and gluten free dessert that turned out excellent (recipe below), I even made a prepackaged sugar and gluten free brownie mix. We’ve been eating tons more fruits and veggies which is excellent and its going well. Though I must admit at times it is hard. Like when I am craving a piece of toast but I have a recipe to try this week.
Last week we had
Blackberry Cobbler (Sugar and Gluten Free)
Sticky Chicken with salad from the garden
Creamy Spinach and Chicken Enchiladas (using corn tortillas)
This week we have planned:
Breakfasts:
Fresh Fruit and Oatmeal
Yogurt and Broiled Grapefruit (recipe and picture courtesy of Amy at Sugar and Gluten Free)
Dinners:
Crock-pot Roast with Potatoes and Carrots
Desserts, Snacks and Drinks:
Grapefruit Zabaglione over Mixed Berries (recipe to come)
Gluten Free Bread (picture and recipe courtesy of Lynn’s Kitchen Adventures)
