Summer is ending too soon…. Really it is Aug 15th the bigs start 4th grade. And I am not ready, but yet ready to get back into the routine and business of the school schedule. I am mostly prepared but still have a few things to do to get ready. We took our last camping trip of the summer to our favorite beach location and the weather was perfect, great friends, drinks and some yummy food. This week will be the last full week of summer and we plan on enjoying it.
Here’s what caught my eye this week and what I’m reading.
- I am loving this how article on How to Prepare, Cook, and Freeze Patty Pan Squash (Delishably) You might also notice a fried patty pan recipe in the list from yours truly. 🙂
- Need back to school supplies? I snagged a great deal from Ebates and Office Depot, if you go through ebates you get 3% back on your order and Office depot has a 25% sale of $25 regular priced items as well as free shipping over $35, which is so easy to do with school supplies. (also if your new to Ebates you can sign up and will get $10 back off your first purchase of $25 or more through any of the websites)
- I am currently listening to the Eat Cake, Be Brave, by Melissa Radke, I am obsessed with her, she is so real, funny and smart. I love listening on Audible and if you sign up you get 2 free books
