Summer vacays are in full swing, another super fun weekend with the family camping at Jellystone Park, it was so much fun. Lots of activities for the kids and not much down time for us old folks, but hey it was worth it. Up this coming weekend a water park camping trip, ole DT just loves me for booking these back to back. But it’s just how it worked out.
Here’s what caught my eye this week and what I’m reading.
- Stitch fix added Kids fixes, offering sizes 2T–14, get 8–12 unique pieces with the same convenience you already know and love. And mens too. Excited to try the kids.
- If it’s hot hot hot where you live, a copycat Dairy Queen ice cream cake is probably in order.
- One of my favorite blogs on the internet, The Elliott Homestead, she has delicious recipes, homesteading, gardening, and more.
- If you are a woman born in the early 80’s this article may very well resonate with you so strongly that you’ll want to devour it and turn away from it all at once: “We believed we could remake ourselves any way we liked”: how the 1990s shaped #MeToo. (The Guardian)
- I am currently listening to the 5 second rule by Mel Robbins, and I am loving her tough love, and motivated to just do it, (whatever you are procrastinating about)I love listening on Audible and if you sign up you get 2 free books
- Most popular recipes on the blog this week, Ice Cream Bread and Friendship Casserole.
