This summer has been a busy one so far and I must admit it was nice to take a little blogging break.  We are having some of my favoirte summer time dishes this week.  I am lightening them up a bit too.

I haven’t written about my diet and exercise lately, but I am still going strong,  I have lost about 5 more lbs.  And I am still eating well (and taking advocare products) and exercising, right now I am switching up between Jillian Michaels Videos, like the 30 day shred.  I am also running, and I enter to run in the Houston Color Run in November, it looks like so much fun!

This week we have planned:

Breakfasts:

Avocado Egg with fresh fruit

Peanut butter and banana roll up

Dinner:

Thai Turkey Tacos

Coconut Shrimp Curry

Cajun Chicken Pasta– one of my favorite dishes the okra and peppers are growing in the garden, I am going to try to lighten this recipe up a bit.

Snacks, desserts, drinks, other:Banana Ice Cream

  1. Looks like a great menu to me, I still have not tried the avocado egg but every time I see it my mouth waters!
