It’s been a week since my last post, gosh I’ve been meaning to blog all week, but just haven’t gotten around to it. I really need to get in the kitchen and cook up some new meals. But we have been enjoying the beautiful Texas weather and planting our summer garden. The chickens have really picked up on laying and we have tons of fresh eggs every single day. So I’ve been using lots of eggs and selling quite a few as well.
Are you planting a spring/summer garden?
Last week we enjoyed:
This week we have planned: Breakfasts:
Cereal with fresh fruit
Snacks and desserts:
Angel food cake (recipe to come)

My menu for the week is complete, but I just might have to make some changes, because those patty melts look delicious, as does the monkey bread! 🙂
Missed you last week, but I can’t say much. I was busy and didn’t have time to blog. As much as I wanted to! 🙂 Can’t wait to get our garden planted. I did plant some lettuce a few weeks ago and it’s coming up. We’ll plant the rest in April.
Can you believe this is the very first week in a long time that we won’t be having Sticky Chicken?? I usually stock up on whole chickens when they go on sale but they’ve been higher priced recently so I haven’t bought any.
Your monkey bread looks delicious!!!
The kids have been asking about when we can start our garden again but I’m waiting until all the rain and cold wind pass.
Monkey Bread and Drunken Chops? Sounds like a party:-)
I always say I’m not going to look at these monday posts yet here I sit – not extremely HUNGRY.
I meant Extremely Hungry, without the not, lol.
Hi!
First time here! Loving your website! Those posts made me hungry! Everything looks so yummy! I also do my menu plan monday every week, but they are “newlywed menus” —- I mean, there’s more of what we really like to eat and it lacks of what we should be eating instead.
I’ll be coming back soon! 🙂
