Holiday Madness!

This holiday season, I am going to be productive and start early on christmas gifts, so mom and i went shopping.  Did I buy one gift for anyone other than myself?  No! All I did was buy Christmas decorations, ornaments, glass Christmas tree, etc.  This is me and DT first married Christmas together, and I want it to be special.  DT loves the holidays, and lights, and decorations the whole nine yards.  I do too, and I really want to make it special for us.  I love Christmas ornaments, and almost every single ornament I have has a meaning, date, gifted or something special behind it.  I can give credit to my mom for this, each year she picked out a special ornament for each of us, that reflected our lives at that point in time, be it animals, figures, barbies, toys, etc.  She also wrote on the ornament our initials, and the date.  SO I have continued this tradition. 

DT loves yard decorations, so that is left up to him this year to put up the lights and figurines in the yard.  I have the inside duty, but we will both decorate the tree together.  Last night I showed him what I had bought, and some ornaments just for us, and I think he thinks its a special as I do.  YA!
