Since we have been out of the house due to our remodel an “Occurrence ” has taken over our dogs. A Happy beyond belief occurrence. The kind of happiness that happens when your parents are gone for endless amounts of time and only come home to feed and pet you for a few minutes kind of happiness!
When I walk into the back yard they become heightened to a frenzied state- running, jumping, spinning, barking, searching for tennis balls! It is so funny!
Not that our dogs haven’t every had the occasional frenzied run and jumpathon. But this is almost too much for me to even walk into the backyard, much less take picture of our garden speaking of which I did take one- week 15
Here I am trying to get pictures of the craziness and I can hardly take a pic fast enough that has a furry critter in it. (sorry all the pictures are blurry)
Meet the Characters: (in their normal state)
Skeeter our rambunctious 4 yr old Pug/Cocker Spaniel Mix
Precious– our sweet 11 year old Rottie
and Cricket our 2 1/2 yr old dachshund/Shitzu mix
(she loved the jumper, lol)
Now meet them in the Frenzied my Mommy just came home to finally see us state
Running a few laps
Skeeter searching for his ball
Throw it, Pretty please, throw it
And look at my poor ungroomed Cricket, her hair, oh my goodness!
Remember her how pretty she is when groomed, poor baby! Doesn’t even look like the same wild thing in the picture above
And Miss Precious. Pet me please, right here on my rump!
Needless to say I think they are ready for our return home!
Please share your wordless Wednesday post!!! Or in my case not so wordless post!

They are happy, happy, happy (wag, wag, wag) dogs! And your garden looks great. Happy WW.
Very happy dogs!
They seem so free running around in the back yard. Oh to be a dog!
LOL at the dog in the bouncer!!
My dog does the SAME THING running laps around the yard when I get home. You wonder where they store all that energy!
Oh they look like they are having so much fun!
They are so cute!!! Skeeter has the cutest face ever! I am jealous of your green grass and garden, BTW. 😉
Wow, they did miss you! They are all such great looking pups!
so sweet – there’s just something about returning home and having your “little ones” there to greet you!
Wait – is that a CURRENT picture of your garden? Seriously? We are still 2 1/2 MONTHS away from even planting.
I need to move.
You have a beautiful garden! I can’t wait to be able to plant mine. It has been way too cold and wet to do anything outside yet.
I’m SO not showing your pug to my daughter! lol. That’s her dream dog.
Tell me, how do you keep your dogs out of the garden? We’re gonna make a garden this year. Our dogs are big. Tallish sized chicken wire?
They’re adorable! Love the one in the jumper!
I think SKketer and I had a love connection! Soo cute!
adorable fur babies
Awwww, they are so sweet!! The little one looks so cute in the jumper!!!
Great and happy looking animals:-)
They certainly have a lot of energy. I think I need a nap!

Wednesday at My Mobile Adventures *~*~* –
It was no picnic! on Sanibel Island
Oh, I love your doggies! It’s so nice to see someone refer to a Rottie as a sweetie, because I know they are! (My brother-in-law had one who was the biggest mush you could ever meet.)
I have a little chihuahua named Shadow Dante. He goes wacko when I come home, too. He even does it when he sees me in the morning (he sleeps in my youngest son’s room). Isn’t it funny how dogs greet you as if they haven’t seen you in years…even if it’s only been a few hours?
I think I want to steal Cricket from you!
Your garden is LOVELY! Dogs just want to have FUN!
First time visitor to your site – love it – love the puppies – we have a 7 year old female Rottie – gotta love’em!
