The boys finally had their first haircuts. At approximately 2 years and 8 months old, I wasn’t sure this day would ever come. But their hair has been growing and growing and growing, it just, had a slow start that’s all.
Lalo (My Mom) manned the scissors and the boys were ready to go with cookie in hand.
First up was Little W. His hair is curly and those long wispy baby hairs just had to go.
Mom wetted his head, brushed it.
and on came the first snip only about a half an inch. I am not ready to say goodbye to those curls just yet.
and snip.
and snip.
Until she was done, and he was neatly trimmed and oh so proud of himself! Way to go Little W!
Next up Little H, he had just witnessed brother’s haircut, so he knew what was going on.
Before shot.
Mom again wetted and started snipping.
and snipping
Little H held still as long as he had his trusty cookie.
All done and pretty handsome I might say. Way to go Little H.
Lalo did a great job and they are perfectly trimmed until next time. I even saved their hair in a little baggie for their baby books.
Not that I have even ever started on their baby books, after all that’s what this blog is mostly and giant baby book, that also has recipes and love stories, sorry boys! 🙂
Aww cute! Jackson needs a trim so badly but he will not sit still!
So cute! I understand about the slow growing hair. My daughter’s hair was the SLOWEST, now it’s picked up and we trim her bangs ever 2 weeks. When I trimmed my son’s hair, I kept the curls. Only they are still on the shelf in the bathroom…6 months later!
Sooooooo cute 🙂
Connor has ton of curles and I just can´t get over myself and cut them off. He´ll get a trim before they start pre-school in August 🙂 Caleb gets his cut regulary. He´s almost overdue again 🙂
Have a great week Jenna!
I love the pics with his haircut! Little H is so cute!
They look GREAT!!
they look adorable! so little boyish… well done!
Awe, they are so cute. 😀
awww… the first haircut. sigh. Looks so cute too! Just this morning I was looking at my son’s hair (or lack thereof) and marveling at the few extra hairs that have grown in. Hard to imagine that one day he’ll need a hair cut too! 🙂
