So over 2 weeks have gone by and I forgot to post about the last leg of our trip at Corpus to the Texas State Aquarium. The boys loved riding on the elevator, and asked very politely for this picture to be taken.
As a rule of thumb that we will here on out follow is to never ever ever ever go to a Aquarium or other such location on a weekend. Wow there massive amounts of people there! Massive. I guess everyone had the same idea as us.
One of the first exhibitions were these little alligators!
Then we saw a beautiful stingray
DT took this picture of us, and look you can see part of the crowd.
At one point I felt like the boys were an exhibit because it seemed like almost every person we passed, was like Oh Twins, can I touch them? what is there names? Are they boys? How old are they? Are they the same or different? How much harder is twins than just one baby? We would just laugh and answer politely but it was getting old after awhile.
Then we finally made it through the vast amounts of people to the shark tank, DT favorite!
The boys loved the glass enclosure and couldn’t help but point out all the pretty fishes
There was even a porcupine
and little jelly fishes
and one of my faves were the otters, they are just such cute little balls of personality, these guys surely were entertaining us, swimming, grooming and playing with one another.
As we were standing outside escaping the crowds for a bit, a barge came by. The boys loved seeing it go by, and kept going vroom vroom!!
By the time were we ready to go home the boys were exhausted, they slept the whole 2 1/2 hours home!
What a great time we had in Corpus Christi.

Wow, what a cool trip! I so need to take my kids to an aquarium. They would love it.
And I SO know what you mean about everyone talking and staring at you and your kids. That happens to us all the time.
We lived on the island for a while and spent many an afternoon at the aquarium–the kids have great memories of doing some of their math lessons in that gorgeous room where you can watch the dolphins underwater!
Blessings!
Those are some GREAT pictures! What a great time:-)
What a fun outing!
I had a business trip to Corpus Christi once, and I loved it! We stayed on Mustang Island – gorgeous! Lots of jellyfish in the ocean, though.
Sounds like a wonderful trip!
I’ve never been there, but it looks like so much fun!
Your little guys are so cute!! What a cool place too.
I can only imagine with twins I know that my granddaughter gains lots of attention in crowds but twins must be tremendous. I also love the pictures of all the fish the boys look really excited
looks like such a great day
You should expect attention when you go out with such good looking guys!
Those are some great photos! It looks like everyone had a good time while you were there. I haven’t been to an aquarium in ages. I might have to check the one here in Houston out in a few months when things settle down.
Great photos!
I love your photos! Looks like you all had a great time.
Someone actually asked to touch them?? That’s kind of weird!
That’s a great aquarium. I have a picture in front of that same round fish tank! Glad you all had a good time despite the crowds.
Well if people can not tell they are twins, much less boys, they need to get glasses. You do need to think about taking the binkies away and use them just for nap or sleep time. It will be harder for you than then them. It is better than sucking a thumb though.
