I just love decorating for Christmas!
The past 2 years I didn’t do much. The first year I had newborns and then the 2nd year with unruly curious little toddlers I couldn’t do much decorating as it would all of been eaten or broken. But this year the boys have a little more self control and have allowed for lots of decorations.
In fact they love it, and when I put out something new, they get so excited and say, Pretty Mommy!
I thought I would share some of my new and old items that I am just in love with!
How about this cute little Santa Christmas count down, I believe my Granny gave it to me last year, and I was so happy to pull him out this year.
I also picked up these cute nutcrackers at Walgreen’s this year for $1.99 each, the boys just love them and want to play with them constantly.
I also got this pretty wreath at Target this year and Little W thinks its so pretty!
You might recognize this bowl, I typically “decorate” it, every season with items the boys can play with, the bowl itself is indestructible and I filled it with tissue paper and unbreakable ornaments, they have fun tossing them in and out of the bowl.
I received this cute snowman last year as a secret Santa gift from my pal at work, it survived last year, and the boys still think its a big pillow they can toss around.
Once of my newest pieces of furniture is this Hutch. I am having a blast decorating it.
This garland I got after Christmas last year on sale, and then I got some ornaments this year to decorate it, yes they are pink! Hot pink to be exact. I figured its OK to have some girly things, since I’m a bit out numbered.
I found these cute little woodland creatures at Pottery Barn this year.
and these little red trees at Target.
I also put up our 3rd tree. I saw this cute idea for a Christmas card tree on a blog (but I can’t seem to find who it was, ugh). Anyways I loved the idea, because I always love looking at Christmas cards! So I decided to get a small tree and create our own. Luckily we’ve received quite a few cards, and will possibly get more and more each day.
That wraps up all of my decorating for this year.

Your hutch is beautiful!
love the decor
I LOVE the card tree idea! I might have to try that next year. We have a small tree but we moved it outside for decorations. If it lasts this year, maybe I’ll try that next year. How cute!!!
Love the decorations AND I may steal that Christmas card tree idea!
The ornament bowl is such a smart idea! Good one Mom!
