The boys just love their new little pet chicks and at every opportunity they want to ever so gently pet them.
These 2 little Black Australorps are their newest delight.
They named them Blue and Pumpkin. (Which happens to be some of the boys favorite words)
Little H doesn’t mind them sitting on his lap, but he doesn’t really want to touch them either, just like to observe them at a comfortable distance.
Little W on the other hand touches them a little too much, as in flings them grabs them by the neck that sort of thing.
And for whatever reason they decided to lay down with the chicks on them.
Little W was fine with this.
Little H didn’t like it so much, it made him a little nervous.
But I sure am glad they are enjoying the chicks as much as I am.
These two bring the chick total to 8. DT thinks I have gone Cuckoo. Or should that be cluck cluck….

I love every single one of these pictures! It’s too funny that they lie down like that *L*
Those are so cute!
The little chicks are precious…and so are those boys.
The boys and the chicks are cute! I can see how they could have fun with those little birds. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I made a typo with my URL, sorry! I don’t think I have enough light in this room.
good thing little H didn’t cry even though he was nervous ^^
How cute are they!?!
Oh goodness – the picture of H and the expression on his face is priceless! You must have been laughing as you snapped those!
awwww sweet chickies! I love it!
I am so impressed at how gentle they seem with those cute little balls of fluff. I’m pretty sure my toddler would do more than just “touch too much”. So cute!
I don’t know which is cuter, your boys or the chicks. I call it a tie. 🙂
Oh my goodness! Those chicks are just adorable! Don’t let me husband see this post, he’s already planning on getting the kids chicks and ducks for Easter and we have PLENTY of animals at this zoo!
Your boys are precious!
oh my goodness! how incredibly SWWWWWWWWEET! love love love these pics!
Really cute! We saw baby chicks hatching at the Rodeo last Saturday, but of course they were in incubators and the kids couldn’t hold ’em.
How cute! and they are so sweet with the chicks, my son would probably try to pull their heads off LOL
I’m impressed that they’re so gentle with the chicks! How cute.
Sooooo sweet! I would love to raise chickens at some point. For now, I’ll be living vicariously through one of our friends, and letting my girls see their chicks next week. 🙂
Oh, too sweet. Kinda makes me want chicks…except they turn into chhickens, and then what would I do?
@amber, Send them to me, ha ha. I love chickens for their funny personalities and eggs!! Fresh eggs are the best.
That must be really fun! 🙂
how cute!
