Gage man had his first broken bone, falling off the monkey bars while on a camping trip, of all things. Honestly, we didn’t think it was broken, maybe sprained, just because he only was fussing about it for a little while and then was ready to play again. But he wasn’t using his arm, so I took him to the Dr., just to be sure, and sure enough he has a break in his ulna about midway on forearm.
He chose a camo cast color and had us all sign it.
He’s still his silly self and it really hasn’t slowed him down a bit. He even figured out to put on his own shirt and shoes.
My little independent little man.
Being a photographer mom, I had to document his summer cast, so out we went in the back yard.
Very little coaching on my part, just letting him be as silly as he wanted to be.
And show off those big muscles…..
And trampoline skills.
His only complaint is it gets itchy from time to time. But I give him some “itch” medicine ie: small dose of Tylenol and he is better.
Who says placebos don’t work, ha…
He is Daddy’s tough guy for sure.
And mommy’s silly goose.
I love his lashes.
Love you little man.
At least he is taking it in stride. What a trooper!
