As I set out to fulfill a new passion of mine, photography, well, I’ve had a passion for photography for quite awhile now, but I’ve decided to try my hand at taking pictures of and for other people and maybe make a little money even. Yes, I’ve decided to start doing photography for hire. As I was posting and adding photos to my facebook photography page (like me), I noticed I haven’t taken any pictures of my 4 boys together, except for the random snapshot here or there.
So I went for it and took some pictures today on this hot summer in Texas August day. Yep? What was I thinking?
I am actually shocked any of the pictures turned out. I really had my doubts.
The big boys kept squirming, sneezing, and squinting, saying the sun was too bright. The babies were too wiggly or the mosquitoes were biting them. All of this mind you at 9 am this morning.
My favorite helper (my mom) helped and Lord knows I needed her, as my patience was wearing thin with my OWN children.
Why is it when I try to take pictures of them all I get is crying and whining, but when someone else takes them they get sweet innocent perfectly posed boys.
You can see plenty of attitudes! I mean if the babies can open their eyes, why can’t the big boys?
If that wasn’t enough, then the babies started crying!
Crying so loud, W and H thought it was funny.
I did plan on getting some pictures of them in our pool, but by this time I was worn out.
So were the bigs and littles.
Thanks boys for letting Mommy torture you for some summer pictures! Love you guys with all my heart.
Your children are SO beautiful! I cannot imagine having two sets of twin boys, but you make it look easy with these gorgeous pictures.
Your boys are beautiful, and so are these pictures! I am hoping for twins one day, but my goodness, two sets?! You are one blessed mama 🙂
