The bluebonnets are blooming and gorgeous this year. A very sweet couple who take their time and effort to grow and groom these beauties have allowed me to use their bluebonnets to take photos.
And it just so happens the babies are 10 months old!
I know, I know in 2 short months I will have 1 year olds on my hands! Ah!
They are growing like weeds, and getting so good at getting into everything. A couple current favorites are dumping out all the cd’s from the holder in our bedroom, and pulling out the boys paperwork in our kitchen organizer, ugh. I need to move them. We are constantly shutting doors and running to grab this or that from their mouths. Mostly paper or a stray leaf that has found it’s way into the house.
The babies are still nursing, about 5 times a day, really quick short sessions, and I almost always nurse them separately now. I haven’t used my twin nursing pillow in about 2 weeks. If I do nurse them together I just prop them one on top of each other, it’s not their favorite, but it gets the job done. They are eating 3 meals a day and lots of finger foods, G hardly wants to eat baby food anymore but C likes both. Some favorites are bananas, avocadoa, peas, carrots, cottage cheese, and blueberries. They are eating meat now too, and have had little chunks of chicken, ground beef and even deer meat.
C man Jenkins (his nickname from the bigs) finally has a tooth! His bottom middle tooth just popped through yesterday. He is my little ham bone, loves to giggle and laugh and thinks his big brothers are hilarious. Just a simple silly face sends him into the giggles. Watch this video of W making him giggle for a little baby cuteness. He pulls up on anything and everything and will even stand without holding on to anything for about 30 seconds. He has no fear and this mostly results in him falling and bumping his sweet little head.
My G man has 5 teeth now, got a new one this month and boy does he like to use them. He is eating everything and loves to chew with his front teeth, and every now and then he bites momma too, ouch! He loves his big brothers too and squeals in excitement when he is happy. He is a speed crawler and bobs his head up and down when he crawls it’s so cute but I always joke that he is going to bump into something when he’s not looking. He is pulling up on everything and is very cautious and rarely falls or bumps his head (unlike C).
They are at such a very fun age, but getting them to look at the camera surrounded by all these pretty blue flowers is something in itself.
Luckily I had big brothers to help and pose for me.
I am doing mini bluebonnet photo session at this gorgeous location.
The bigs had their first t-ball game this week, they had so much fun and did so well.
*funny story*
After the game each kid gets a snow cone. H gets a cherry flavored snow cone and loves it. W gets a pickle flavor!! He said he didn’t think it would really taste like pickles, ha. He doesn’t even like pickles.
He took one taste and that was it, he fussed and cried the whole way home. Bet he never gets the pickle flavor again.
They owners of this bluebonnet patch have all these neat vignettes of antiques, flower beds, tractors, benches, you name it and they graciously let me use a few of the items.
My sweet boys, they just can’t help but kiss and love on their baby brothers.
And they found this neat old tractor/lawnmower and instantly fell in love with it, and wanted their photo with it.
