E-meals contacted me to do a review of their meal planning system and to be honest I had to think about it for a sec, because, ummm, see I am a bit of a meal planning snob. It’s just that I have been planning my meals now for so long, and I was a bit stuck in my own ways, I guess you can say.
After reviewing the website and menu’s I thought, what the hey? Let’s give it a shot. For us I choose the Regular Family, any store meal plan. Each week I chose 4 from the 7 recipes that I wanted to make.
Not only do they provide the meal plans and recipes, but also the grocery list. Each corresponding meal has a number to the item, so if I wasn’t making meal 4 it was very easy to cross the number 4 ingredients off the grocery list.
Being the picture nut that I am, I also took a pic of each e-mealz I made.
*the first meal
DT like me wasn’t too thrilled about this idea at first. But after the first meal he was sold!
*a fun meal the boys loved
The variety and ease of each recipe is so very appealing.
*Taco Calzones
And at $5 a month how could you not be happy, all the planning, searching and guesswork is done for you.
*Zesty chicken salad
They even have gluten free, weight watcher, vegetarian and low fat menu plans.
*Pork Roast with sweet mustard glaze
The plans can also go by the weekly sales at your grocery store, wal-mart, or menu plans for any store like I chose.
* Camp Stew with cornbread muffin
Overall I have been very pleased with the menu plans and I am happy to say that you have the chance to win a 1 month subscription to e-mealz.
*Hash Brown n’ Sausage Bake

I think I would like to try the Kroger meal plan. This looks nice and easy-would love to try it!
What an awesome idea!!
I wish they had a poultry only plan. ha! I could do some of the recipes on the any store meal plan, or I could do the vegetarian meal plan.
I tried out e-meals and it seems like a good system but it didn’t work out for me… I’m glad that others have had good success with it!
This looks very helpful! I would love to try the Regular Meal Plans for 2 people (Walmart – it’s all I have 🙁 )
Also – I tweeted about this 🙂
And one more… 🙂 I am already a facebook follower, so I posted info about this on my facebook page!
That’s such a clever idea! As a single gal I don’t really have need of such a system but I love the idea!
I’ve thought about doing this for a while, but just haven’t commited. I would do the low-carb any store plan.
I like your meal plans, but this also looks pretty good! I’d like the Any store meal plan for families. Although I was tempted at the Aldi’s one.
I just liked you on FB! How didnt I never do that before?
Okay, bad english on the last comment, lol. I’m also getting your RSS
I am so stoked! They have a Ralph’s meal plan for a family! And they say only $80-$90 a week! That would be a HUGE savings for me!!
I’m a bit of a control freak and don’t know if I could do it! But I would try for one month if I won! 🙂 I’d probably choose the Aldi plan for regular family since I coupon and I’d be afraid I miss out one my deals! (told you I was a control freak!)
I think the low-carb any store would be the way to go. Helps weight maintenance and also makes it a no-fuss meal planning. Great giveaway!
I’m interested in the low carb for 2 – any store.
I’d probably choose the Walmart plan for 2. That’s pretty much where we shop.
I subscribe to your feed.
I just viewed the E-meals website. I totally enjoyed the example for the “Any store for 2”. I’m strongly considering this… I always have so much trouble deciding dinner and then end up ordering out after I have spent $$$ at the grocery store. Thanks!!!
What a great product! Sometimes it is so hard after hours of chasing after tiny people to have the energy and brain space left to come up with great dinners for your family. The Kroger Family meal plan would be a great addition to our household! Good luck to everyone!!
I would just family meal..probably anystore. This plan sounds pretty neat.

I would choose the regular meal plan for any store. Looks like a great service!
I am a subscriber. Thanks!
I am so getting e-meals, even if I don’t win the prize. I will be doing the low carb Wal-Mart plan. I cook every meal at home for myself, DH and two little boys. I am like you and love to plan my meals and even do a weekly menu but this is going to help take some of the pressure off for sure. Thanks for blogging about e-meals! I can’t wait to get my first plan.
