It’s Thursday and time to be thankful! I like to reflect weekly on things I am thankful for specifically from this past week.
- Labor Day- It was great having a day off! We enjoyed ourselves at the zoo.
- DT’s Birthday- a day I try to make very special for him he deserves it!
- Homemade Pizza– m mm mmm’ it was so good, I am spoiled forever!
- My animals- poor things have been neglected lately! Not really but they just don’t get as much attention as they use to.
Skeeter my rambunctious 3 yr old Pug/Cocker Spaniel Mix
Precious- our sweet 10 year old Rottie
Sable is a 9 yr old calico sweet heart, she is so good with the boys.
Cricket our 1 1/2 yr old dachshund/Shitzu mix
(she loved the jumper, lol)
Here’s Whitey our 3 year old new lovable kitty
About 3 months ago whitey went from a inside kitty to full outside cat.
Look at the first 2 pictures these were taken about 4 months ago, now look at the next two these were last week.
Can’t you tell she has lost about 3 lbs? And she loves being outside, it makes her the most lovable cat ever! The boys love pulling her white hair.

Your boys are so precious!!! You must be having so much fun with them….I remember the 9-month old stage being a lot of fun (right before they start walking…heehee!!)
We visited the zoo too on Labor Day…the zoo takes on a whole ‘nother experience when you visit with kids, am I right? My older twins were more impressed with the size of the baboons’ butts and the little twins were scared of any animal that looked directly at them! Good times for sure!
To answer your question on my blog, the 2nd set of twins are actually easier than the 1st…can you believe that? My 1st set of twins were a huge blur…I was just so overwhelmed and scared all the time! But the 2nd set, I adopted an attitude of “been there, done that” and it’s just been so much smoother. Plus, I think my little twins have a more calmer nature than my older twins!
I enjoyed reading your blog…thanks for stopping by mine! I love the pics down below…you have a beautiful family!
OMG!! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MOMS FAVORITE FAT CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG I can’t believe White Kitty has lost that much weight. What is her secret? Looking good. Can’t wait to see the boys this weekend. We are coming in early, boys are going shooting with Pop and KL and I want to come play with the boys. See you Sat.
I can attribute the weight loss to more exercise, when she was in the house all the time, she just lazed around didn’t move much, but now she is having a blast running and playing and catching lizards, Ha!
Sue Sue- glad your coming early I know the boys will have fun playing!
