Day- 21 of the shred first off let me say wow I can’t believe I’ve made it this far, and then yes I can believe it. Trust me I felt every ache, pain, sore muscle possible and all to say that is it having a wonderful affect of my once flabby body (don’t you just love how I am putting a positive spin on things) Like flab is a thing of the past!! Or it will be as long as I stay on this course of things.
I’ve decided that this week due to my current head cold, I switched things up and worked out in the evenings. I am just too tired and stuffy in the mornings to work out. So last night I shredding level 3 again, and like always it totally kicked my butt. Those jumping lunges, just about kill me, I don’t think I’ve ever felt my legs burn that bad, ouch!! I actually do think I pulled a muscle in my right butt cheek last night and I totally blame those jumping lunges! But Anyways.
3 more days till we leave for our bay trip, I am super excited!!
Today is the Shrinking Jeans weigh in and I am happy to report 1 more pound loss. When I checked the scale this morning I had to do a happy dance, especially since I’ve been sick and missed 2 days of working out. So total loss for three weeks is 4lbs!!! I am pretty happy about that. And if I keep it up I will be in my size 6’s before I know it. Go Team Gold!!! Did I mention our gold team is pretty darn awesome, Christieo decided to send each member a wrist band that say Strength _ Focus_ Discipline as a reminder to wear each day to help keep us on track. And can I say it totally works, yesterday I almost grabbed the bag of chips but didn’t because of my handy dandy little reminder! Thanks Christieo.
If your curious in following my journey through the 30 day shred check this out.
So how did you do today?
I have heard people talking about the shred. It sounds like I would love the results but not the work out. 🙂
Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a sweet comment about our adoption. 🙂
great job man!!! i feel a loss coming any day now!!
i’m glad the bracelet worked! i so wanted the pizza at the food court yesterday but my trusty bracelet reminded me to stay strong and get the turkey sandwich. 🙂 It’s all about choices.
i’m proud of you for sticking with the shred and for your loss! sweet! i promise to contribute to the loss next week!
Oh, I want a bracelet- what a great idea! Good job on the loss. Doesn’t it feel awesome?
Go you!! 4lbs!! Woohoo! 😀 I am happy to report that I got back on it last night and worked out! My husband even did the Shred w/me…but he cheats! Side Lunges w/Arm Raises? He leaves out the arm raises! 😛
congrats on the loss – and sticking with shredding! 🙂
Wow! Way to go! That is impressive. I bet you feel a lot stronger!
Good for you! Losing weight from exercise and hard work is a great feeling!
That is excellent!! Good work!
PS. Thanks for your comment today! :o)
Way to go!! I am proud of you. I’ve never been able to be consistent with it long enough to get off of week 1. 4 pounds in 3 weeks is pretty enticing.
Hi! First off Congrats on the weight loss!! I have been doing the shred for about 20 days now and am getting ready to start level 3 tomorrow. I try to do it everyday and think that I have only skipped it 4 times in 20 days. For the last 2 weeks I have also been doing WW to try to lose my baby weight- problem is…… I have gained 1.5 lbs!! Everyone keeps telling me it is probably muscle but how much muscle do I have to gain before I start to lose? Has anyone else had this problem or am I flying solo on this one? Thanks!
