So my 3 year blogiversary came and went. How could I forget. Now before I get all mushy, let me explain a bit. This year has been different than my two previous years. Obviously, no year is the same, but hear me out. As I was going through each month and highlighting a few of my favorite posts, it hit me. The past 6 months have been rough. Very rough for us and it shows on my blog, because for a few months I only posted maybe 3 posts per month, and none were too happy. It’s like I had forgotten, than BAM, in my face. I hate when that happens.
So please forgive me if I skip a month in my recap below.
I am excited for my 3 year milestone. I have learned and grown and hopefully impacted some of you as much as others have impacted me. You all have helped me heal through my losses by sharing your stories, filled my belly with your fabulous recipes and tips, and given me encouragement to keep on blogging. For all of this, thank you.
Last year on my 2 year blogiversary I shared some little blogging tidbits and I think I will do the same again, because my 3rd year is again much different than my 2nd and 1st.
- I’ve written 181 blog posts this year, as opposed to 303 last year, and a whopping 510 the year before!
- My most popular Food blog posts from this year are: Drunken Pork Chops, Patty Melts and Homemade Hotdog chili. All food posts, no surprise to me.
- My top friend blog referrers are: The Zabodyns, The Savino Family, and The Key Girls.
- My most popular search engine searches are: Zucchini Brownies, Olive Egger Chickens, Newlywed Blog.
- I have over 500 feed readers, 429 facebook followers and over 800 page views per day.
Now a review of some of my favorite posts each month. Just click on the pictures if you want to go to the original posts.
